Fundraising Manager, Capital E
Keen to join a creative and close-knit team making a real difference for children? Well look no further, Capital E is seeking a part-time experienced Fundraising Manager to join the Business & Development team. This person will be responsible for implementing strategies to increase fundraising revenue as well as building, retaining and deepening relationships with individuals, partners and stakeholders that build Capital E’s profile and sustainability.
Capital E is an award winning not-for-proﬁt organisation for children and young people, based in central Wellington. Our aim is to ignite and fuel the creative spark in children and young people, enabling them to become conﬁdent, capable, creative citizens of the future. Capital E ensures that creativity and the arts are accessible for all children, their families and the wider community, welcoming over 150,000 visitors every year through a variety of programmes including educational digital technology experiences, live theatre shows, and creative workshops.
An exciting opportunity has been created for an experienced fundraiser to shape our future fundraising programme and the ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge and at least 5 years’ experience in a fundraising role with proven success. It is important that you have a hands-on attitude as well as the ability to contribute at a strategic level. You will be a team player and be able to hit the road running.
Reporting to the Head of Business and Development, the Fundraising Manager will be responsible for delivering on the fundraising strategy with a track record of performing against financial targets. You will work collaboratively with Marketing & Communications Manager to foster a culture of fundraising and brand ambassadorship across the organisation.
Working for an inspirational and innovative organisation, you will approach your work with energy, creativity, and resourcefulness and can demonstrate:
- Proven fundraising management experience
- In-depth knowledge of individual giving programmes and how to optimise these
- The ability to formulate creative fundraising plans and implement them
- Experience in developing business partnerships and sponsorship arrangements
- A proven track record in managing a grant-giving programme including accountability obligations and relationship management
- Experience in planning and running events related to fundraising
