Marketing and Communications Manager, Capital E
Keen to join a creative and close-knit team making a real difference for children? Well look no further, Capital E is seeking an experienced and energetic Marketing & Communications Manager to join their Business & Development team. This person will be responsible for promoting Capital E and its programmes to our wide range of audiences, with particular focus on brand, visitation and revenue generation.
We are an award winning not-for-proﬁt organisation for children and young people, based in central Wellington. Our aim is to ignite and fuel the creative spark in children and young people, enabling them to become conﬁdent, capable, creative citizens of the future. We ensure that creativity and the arts are accessible for all children, their families and the wider community and welcome over 150,000 visitors every year through a variety of programmes including educational digital technology experiences, live theatre shows, and creative workshops.
The Marketing & Communications Manager will play a lead role in promoting Capital E and its programmes to our wide range of audiences, contribute positively to the strategic outcomes and position Capital E as a centre for creativity for children. Capital E also delivers the biennial National Arts Festival, the largest festival for children in New Zealand and this role will be responsible for developing and delivering the marketing & sales plan.

- Developing, managing and promoting the brand
- Developing and implementing effective marketing and communications strategies that contribute to meeting visitor and revenue targets
- Leading and managing a cohesive and responsive marketing team
- Ensuring the marketing, sales and fundraising strategies align effectively
Part of a compact, dedicated team, you’re a motivating influence with an inclusive management style. Your organisational skills are exceptional and you have an excellent eye for detail. A knowledge of young audiences will be an advantage.
