Te tūranga | The role
Working closely in our small, innovative bookings team based at Capital E, you will play a key role in facilitating education group bookings across our organisation’s six sites; City Gallery Wellington, Capital E, Wellington Museum, Space Place, Cable Car Museum and Nairn Street Cottage.
Within this role you will assist in the development and improvement of our booking systems, processes and procedures and provide reporting and any administration support as required.
You will also act as advocate for the education customer and their booking journey with us.

To be successful in this position you will;
- have proven experience in an administrative role
- be detail focused and have a strong customer service orientation with a friendly and efficient telephone manner.
- have a high level of competence in Office 365
- have exceptional advocacy and empathy skills, with the ability to relate to a wide variety of people
- have an understanding of the education sector and have an affinity with the arts or not-for-profit sector
- approach your work with energy, creativity, and resourcefulness
- good oral and written communication skills
- outstanding time management and is exceptionally well organised

The salary band for this role is $51,838 – $55,845, depending on skills and experience.
